The television show Fringe that shows on Fox Channel may well be half over its first season, but it sure does get more interesting.
It features FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham, formerly institutionalized mad scientist Walter Bishop, and his son with a shady past Peter as they investigate aspects of fringe science (telepathy, levitation, invisibility, reanimation, etc). Peter is played by Joshua Jackson, from Dawson’s Creek, who originally played Charlie as Emilio Estevez’s favorite hockey student from the Mighty Ducks movie series.
All over the world, a series of apparent experiments collectively referred to as “the pattern” are occurring for reasons unknown. Olivia, Peter, and Walter are in charge of investigating these strange events to determine their source. Connected to “the pattern” is a company called Massive Dynamics, which is a leading global research company that holds the patents for a number of new and important technologies.
